SmartReMarxcom turns three years old in another week. *Sniff*. This blog was conceived on my birthday three years ago, and has, with varying degrees of success, been an outlet for ramblings and musings of myself and a few select friends. I always wanted something bigger and better than just a livejournal mannequin in a fancy wordpress gown, but if you have ever read something from this site, you know that didn’t happen.
Oh don’t get me wrong, some of the articles were very good. And it provided an amazing forum for me to write about anything and just push my craft a little bit, massaging the edges of my skills to keep me limber.
But not everything here was really worth reading, and as I pursued a professional writing career, something had to give. There just wasn’t enough time to do it all, or at least, do it all well.
But another birthday is rolling around, and the urge to share my random, scattered thoughts has risen again, like so much chunks of bile in my throat. And so I shall spew, no schedule, no agenda, just whatever happens to be floating in the debris of circumstance that inspires me to write. Read it or don’t. Subscribe or don’t. You’re invited along for the ride, but make no mistake, I’m the one driving.
