Another thing about viral marketing is that buzz builds on buzz. If your brand or your product already has buzz, your viral campaign is going to work that much harder for you for taking the same effort. If you're just starting out, it is much steeper hill to climb. If PepsiCo launches a viral campaign, they have a built in buy-in from customers. You might have that same loyalty but on a much smaller scale. The effect is that their campaigns, even if poorly designed or only marginally effective, will still have a cumulatively greater effect than your best campaign.

It's worth mentioning too that depending on which social networking sites you are using, does your message come through the way you meant it? Twitter is limited to 140 characters so you have to tailor your message to that format. Facebook works well for posting links and photographs and art images and videos, except when it isn't working well. Facebook takes a short bit of text from your post as a "description" of the link or video, but is it using the best text from your message? Next time you link a website to facebook, check to see what kind of descriptive text gets added to the update. It might not be what you expect to see. Another example is that your subscription sign up forms may not work with every application. So you think people will be able to sign up for your newsletter but the functionality ends up being blocked when you the message is live on the application. Those kinds of pitfalls only become clear as you go through the process.

The increase of secrecy from your son toward you may serve to imply as a possibility that you have intruded upon his right to privacy. You should not be going through your sons room save for a dire emergency. You found a magazine with naked men in it. That in and of itself should reinforce the fact some things are better kept at your sons discretion. The idle assertion of a phantom girlfriend being responsable for bringing the magazine into the house is only surpassed by the erroneous belief that your son is engaging in sexual intercourse with, and will impregnate this phantom girlfriend. Do not exclude the notion that such a magazine is the property of your son. Computer savvy kids and ease of access to comprehensive information regarding gay, lesbian, bisexual, and, transgendered alternate lifestyles are available to our youth at ages younger than ever before. Today’s questioning child is no longer isolated from their peers and often much needed timely support. Your son may have availed himself of this available information at an early age and is now only in such position allowing for self exploration. Your son is soon to be a man; gay, straight, or otherwise. It is soley his choice how he will define himself. I might
surmise throughout his childhood you imparted your beliefs, mores, and values. I pray they did not include the vilification, hate, and the estrangement from god of GLBT people. What you should do is allow your son his space and privacy. Meanwhile, a multitude of Guides for Parents of GLBT questioning children is widely available You would do well to read one or more of these very informative books and better understand the inherent issue’s facing those GLBT person(s) and your position on it

You took the words out of my mouth. Very True!!

" But even as there are more books published today than ever, there are less readers out there, and the result is a saturation of the market with books that nobody will read, much less ever hear about. It’s an internet myth; you can reach anyone if only you publish on the world wide web. "
