Ben Folds will record and release 10 songs from his current tour for sale on iTunes the day after the recording. Each track will be recorded from a different show and uploaded to iTunes with original cover art. At the end of the tour, Folds plans to package them together a digital live album.
Excluding two performances one each with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and the Louisville Orchestra, Folds has an additional twelve dates on his headlining tour, stopping next at Ohio University on October 8.

Letters to Cleo, featuring lead singer Kay Hanley, will reunite for four shows this winter. The Boston-based band has been inactive for eight years, and will play two shows at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA. The two other dates include an as yet-to-be-confirmed show in New York and a November 8 show at the Roxy in Los Angeles, CA.

The Smashing Pumpkins have lined up a short tour to support their 20th Anniversary, and promise to not repeat a single song from their back catalog during the tour. The Pumpkins will also play one night during the Bridge School Benefit on October 26. They have recorded a new song G.L.O.W. for Guitar Hero: World Tour.

For a short west coast tour to promote his new album, Scream, Chris Cornell has tapped producer Timbaland to come along. Timbaland and Cornell worked together on the new solo release, which is preceded by the first single Ground Zero. Cornell has said that the album will be played in order in its entirety. The artist used a similar tactic when promoting his first solo release Euphoria Morning.

Daughtry has packaged its post-Idol debut into a new deluxe package that will hit the shelves on September 9. In addition to bolstering the 12-track album with four extra songs, the release will include a DVD featuring live performances, music videos and band interviews. The band begins a month-long tour this week in Las Vegas to promote the release.

Robin Williams will begin a comedy tour in Minneapolis, MN on September 25. The tour will stretch until the end of November, finishing up in Boston, MA on November 25. The tour, dubbed Weapons of Self-Destruction, includes a number of multi-night stands and additional dates to be confirmed. Onsale dates begin this Friday and run throughout the month into September for Canadian dates and the Boston onsale (9/19).
Meet and greet packages and premium packages, both guaranteeing seats near the front, are available for all shows in limited quantity.
